What are the main themes of Screenagers: Generation AI?

Screenagers: Generation AI examines how artificial intelligence is rapidly entering young people's lives and what it means for their relationships, learning, and wellbeing.
The film explores the harms already emerging, from chatbot dependency and AI-generated harassment to the impact on how kids think and learn, alongside the growing efforts by students, parents, and lawmakers to push back.
Like previous Screenagers films, Generation AI interweaves cutting-edge science with personal stories and expert advice, offering a clear-eyed look at where we are and how we can best empower Generation AI to navigate what's ahead.
Can I watch the movie ahead of release to see if it's suitable for our school or group?

Yes. Closer to the release date we'll be making preview copies available to prospective hosts. Please register your interest using the form above and a member of our team will connect with you where they can advise further on this.
When is Screenagers: Generation AI released?

What ages is Screenagers: Generation AI suitable for?

Screenagers: Generation AI is recommended for middle school aged students and up (Grade 6+), and is suitable for parents of children of all ages. We encourage parents and young people to watch together at school and community screenings to help spark meaningful conversations.

I just want to watch the movie at home with my family. Is that possible?

The Screenagers movies aren't available for on-demand or online streaming at home. We make our films to be shown at in-person community screenings, such as those held at schools and other local organisations.
Around release, there will be a number of premiere screenings happening alongside many community screenings of the movie.
